Commissioning

Thank you for your interest in commissioning The Bridge AP Academy for your alternative provision. We are proud to offer an Alternative Provision Pathway for children in Key Stages 3 and 4, and have up to 50 places at our Academy.

At The Bridge AP Academy, the starting point of our work is that every child can, and will, achieve. Our mission is to ensure that all students that attend our Academy, are School Ready, Work Ready and Life Ready, prepared for transition ahead, with the essential social, and emotional skills needed to thrive within, and beyond, the classroom.

From September 2024, we have refreshed our offer, to ensure that we can continue to meet the needs of children, whilst also appreciating the demand for places in the locality. This letter outlines our commissioning arrangements with you. You will find overleaf, an outline of the Accreditation and Pathways available to children in the Secondary Phase.

Our daily rate for provision in the Secondary Phase will be £75 per day. In addition to our academic and vocational offer, we are proud of the wrap-around pastoral support that we provide to our children. This includes an allocated RAISE tutor that supports children every day; bespoke safeguarding & attendance support; staff trained in Emotion Coaching, Team-teach and Mentoring to ensure all children are understood and supported.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
