The Bridge Academy have set up an inter-PRU/Alternative Provision Football League, which currently sees all six Staffordshire PRU’s, as well as alternative provision academies from Derby and Birmingham join to compete in a football tournament.
The first game was on Thursday 3rd October, against CEDARS PRU from Newcastle-Under-Lyme. The Bridge won 7-1! Most importantly, this was the first opportunity for the team to represent The Bridge out of school, and the boys were highly commended for the RESPECT they showed to the opposing team.
Mr Kellyman, Assistant Headteacher & Football Team Manager, said “What an outstanding performance from our KS3 and KS4 boys. They played well as a team, showed great sportsmanship and really lived our Raise value of Respect. Man of the match awards went to Charli (KS4) and Bailey (KS3).
